So many of the bars in Key West are similar, but Dante's breaks the mold. At Dante's you can eat, drink and lounge in the large swimming pool. It seems this is a favorite pastime for many. Lots of young bodies lay stretched along the pool's edge. They are listening to music, drinking beverages and texting.
This Florida beach bar only has live music on Friday nights from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. during their happy hour. Otherwise, you will hear the current and upbeat music played by the poolside DJ. You can catch a live band at almost every Key West bar but finding a swimming pool with pretty surroundings is unique.
You can choose to sit at the Cruzan Chill Zone Bar or Dante's Island Stage Bar. Each is round and round makes for good conversation with other patrons. There is picnic table seating as well. Or, better yet, get a drink and head to the pool. The view there is definitely fine.
