Overview
Flounder's Chowder House is located on the beach on the sound side of Pensacola Beach. This Florida beach bar has all the charm of an old fishing camp. Flounder's is also loaded with antiques and memorabilia. You could spend hours walking around and looking at the the signs and fish and old fishing boats. There is even an old shrimp boat that is still seaworthy and could launched at any time. All of the memorabilia seems to have a story attached to it making this restaurant museum fun to visit.
But if you prefer Florida beach bars with games and pool tables, you will find those at Flounder's too. The food is good, and they make a tasty Bushwacker. Flounders has live music Thursday through Sundays. Check their web site calendar for most accurate times.
There are plenty of options for seating. All of them are interesting and some are even on their beach. You can sit inside at a table or the bar. Best of all, you can sit at a table on the beach. Flounder's has a little bit of everything, but most important of all, it is a fun Florida beach bar.
