So many bars in Key West have a history. The Green Parrot is another one of the great Key West bars. Since 1890, this corner grocery store/bar has been a local favorite. During WWII, this corner bar became a place for the submarine sailors. It was known as the Brown Derby Bar back then. In the 1970's it became the Green Parrot Bar and the rest is history. 

With happy hour every day from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., you can't go wrong here. The windows and doors of this Florida beach bar are always open which gives this indoor bar and outdoor feeling.
