Overview
Riptides Raw Bar and Grill is located on the street side of the Atlantic Ocean. It is just steps away from the beach. Technically, it is not a beach bar but it has the spirit of a beach bar and the ocean is just steps away.
The inside of this Florida beach bar is contemporary and up-to-date. It is very popular and was busy on an off day, in off season and at an off time of day. Still, Riptides was packing them in.
A deck runs along the front of the building is filled with high top tables and umbrellas. Every day at 6:00 p.m. a live band plays outside. If the weather doesn't cooperate, they bring the band inside.
We enjoyed Bloody Mary's the way we like them best......filled to the brim and topped off with celery, olives and a tasty shrimp.
Riptides serves "all you can eat crab" all day and every day. With great drinks and great food and lots of live music steps from the beach, we have to include this friendly beach bar.
