Overview
Located right on the boardwalk in John's Pass, The Hut brings a little something different to this venue. The Hut is where Hawaii meets the fishing shack. The Hut has an Hawaiian flair to it complete with the tiki bar and columns of tikis holding it up. The Hut boasts a 70 foot waterfront bar according to their web site. However, there is a bar that goes all around the outside and that certainly seems longer than 70 feet. There are 12 TV's for the sports fans. This Florida beach bar is a favorite for the sports fans, and it does provide a great place to watch "the big game".
The Hut has live entertainment every day of the weekd and twice a day Wednesday through Saturday. The Hut features some of the areas best bands. We were lucky enough to catch "Wait" on the Friday afternoon that we were there. They are a great band. The band plays on a stage located inside and above the inside blue tile bar. Wait, the band, played Kenny Chesney, Zac Brown and Kings of Leon along with many other favorite bands. They did a great job and we just kicked back and got ready to spend the afternoon at The Hut.
The Hut is part of Sculley's and if you have eaten there, you know they have good food. The Hut's menu is varied and they offer a great selection of food also.
You can reach The Hut by car or by boat. The outside bar is just as appealing as the inside bar. There are plenty of misters, inside and out, to keep you comfortable.
This Florida beach bar is easily found. All you have to do is look for the big tiki hut. Once you are there, you can kick back and relax and enjoy the music or the game.
